Lochinver House School

 

 

Dating from 1947, Lochinver House School is a popular prep school for boys aged 3-13 in Potters Bar. Feeding some of the UK's top senior schools, Lochinver develops a high academic standard it its boys, with attention paid to excellent pastoral care and support. 

 

Working with Headmaster Ben Walker and his team, Dowie developed a series of promotional activities for feeder schools, to nurture strong relationships with the wide array of local nurseries and playgroups. Having undertaken initial parent research to gain insights into the drivers for parents considering Lochinver House, a number of tactics were recommended and implemented, not least was a softer tone in explanatory copy and clarity about the admission 'test'.

 

In June, the headmaster undertook a 50-mile bike ride to visit over 15 feeder schools in one day, raising money for the Head Boys' charity whilst ensuring that Lochinver House's Head is remembered for his intrepid personal visit.
